Funerals and Planning

At First Presbyterian Church, our funerals mourn the death of the deceased, give thanks to God for the life of the deceased, and to hear God's word of comfort and hope for the living.

Our funeral services are a service of worship that encourages the active involvement of the congregation. We encourage our members and other practicing Christians to have their service held in the church where their worship lives centered. If a funeral is held outside our church, we still encourage congregational participation, prayers, and singing.
